You will likely begin your stay skiing at the Rond Point des Pistes, with its nursery area which is located just yards from much of the accommodation in the Val Thorens resort, before progressing during your stay to the Deux Lacs chairlift from which you can start sliding down some gentle green runs.

Within the Rond Point des Pistes there are 2 magic carpet ride lifts which are great for beginners, and 6 blue runs for more confident skiers. Val thorens has a lot of ski school trips each season so it is earmarked for teaching beginners with some fantastic runs to progress to once you have got yourself familiar with your skis or board.
