La Plagne consists of six high-altitude resorts, located in the Northern French Alps in the Tarentaise Valley. There are over 225km of marked runs throughout La Plage and if that's not enough then you can hop on their double-decker cable car and pop over to Les Arcs which has another 200km of runs available.
Short transfer times from the main transport hubs, plenty of good quality accommodation, and huge beginner-friendly areas make a school ski trip to La Plagne a great choice.
Getting to La Plagne
La Plagne is very easy to access and can be reached from Chambery, Geneva, Gronoble and Lyon airports in between 1 hour 30 mins to 2 hours 15 mins.
For beginners
The ski slopes in and around La Plagne are great for beginners. Throughout the entire resort there are 169 green runs and 121 blue runs. Beginners will get the most out of a trip to La Plagne by staying in one of their higher resorts, here you will see a lot of undemanding slopes, with a lot of free lifts in the beginners areas.
