Why is Stowe a good ski resort for school groups?
Stowe, located in Vermont, is a large resort which was first developed back in the 1930s. Since then it has had a lot of work on its lift infrastructure and is now one of the most modern in it's state. This includes some very modern lifts including express quads and two gondolas. There is also a Gondola which goes between Mount Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak, all of the way across to Spuce Peak.
Snowfall, especially higher up the mountains is pretty reliable and the resort has snow-making should the weather get too warm.
